Bethany & Mike 6.27.08
"She lights up the room with her smile".....this phrase comes to mind whenever I think of Bethany. Bethany & Mike are two of my favorite people, and not just because they share the same "first date" date as Noel & I :) The super talented (and FUN) Kelly Vasami was my 2nd shooter for the day - she's posted some fantastic images on her blog here. Now onto the wedding...
We started the day with "getting ready" pictures in a beautiful brick house in the heart of New Haven.
I just loved this leaded glass door where she hung the dress.
All the bridesmaids wore light blue.

The beading detail on Beth's dress was amazing.

Moments before the ceremony at the Yale campus cathedral.
The handsome groom.

After a bubble sendoff, I took the couple and bridal party to explore more of Yale's campus.

Then it was off to Waters Edge in Westbrook for a few beach pics.

I loved the details of blue hydrangea, and the sugar icing on the cake, but my favorite was a bon voyage CD favor that Beth & Mike gave to their guests. It included some of their favorite songs, including the song that Beth sang and dedicated to Mike. The travel luggage that the favors were kept in was EXACTLY like my Mom's luggage that I always played with when I was a kid :)
They treated everyone to a choreographed number for their first dance.
Hope you had an amazing time on your honeymoon in Bora Bora! Congratulations!
