We took the getting ready pictures on the entrance way to the Wagon Room. Wall to wall windows made for great light although Ashley was a little nervous that Casey might see her beforehand. But every Thursday night we sit down together to watch our two favorite programs - <a href="http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/" target="blank">The Office</a> and <a href="http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index?pn=index" target="blank">Lost</a>. Of course we TIVO it and start watching a half hour after everything starts so we don't have to waste time watching commercials :)<br /><br />So, we're watching the folks at <a href="http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/" target="blank">Dunder Mifflin</a>, and you had to hear me SQUEAL with delight when they mentioned they were going to a job fair at VALLEY VIEW -- my alma mater!!! The fun continued when I saw "Go Cougars" in the gym! Whoever the technical advisor is on the show, she/he gets it right everytime. I felt like I was back in high school :)<br /><br />Unfortunately, it wasn't the funniest episode ever, but I heart THE OFFICE just the same. We had lots of fun and I really appreciated all the thought and planning everyone put into it. The outfits, props (fiance's electric guitar :) and just the positive attitudes and energy. It was great meeting and getting to know you all, and your friends/sisters (who I turned into my personal lighting assistants - holding fans, reflectors, and video lights :) The champagne and strawberries probably helped, but you all were just so relaxed and great to work with. Melissa &amp; Nate were married at the <a href="http://uccredeemer.org/" target="blank">Church of the Redeemer</a>. Melissa and all her girls got ready in a FABULOUS upstairs room with Nate and the guys downstairs. The ceremony was a beautiful family-affair with Nate's sister playing a gorgeous piece on the cello, and Melissa's brother delivering the homily. Afterwards it was off to New Haven for photos on the beach and reception at <a href="http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/Parks/ParksInformation/carousel.asp" target="blank">Lighthouse Point Park</a>. Denise was the calmest, coolest bride ever, and the getting ready part of the day was extra special with her little guy Sam making sure he was in almost every picture. After the ceremony at the Congregational Church of West Hartford, we had a full-fledged photo shoot with 3 locations: Bushnell Park, City Hall, and finally the amazing Joe Black's. It's a shame that they've closed their doors - but I'm glad that Denise &amp; Alex were able to have their wedding there, just as they wanted. Everyone there was just so much fun to work with, and I loved the feel of their offices. Aside from the miniature Gozilla, and cow collections...there were all these fantastic nostalgic posters and art everywhere. Great stuff. I wanted to share a few images from the session.
