Boutique Shoot 9.25.08

Not long ago we were asked us to capture some images for the city style boutique, Bangle & Clutch, for them to use on their new website and for upcoming promotion. They also needed some head shots of Debbie Wright - owner of Project Closet, and consulting style expert on Better CT TV, Channel 3 - to promote her role at Bangle & Clutch as their fashion stylist/personal shopper.

They have amazing things to (as they say) take your look 'from ordinary to extraordinary'. So if you're into great fashion, fabulous handbags, and cool accessories & jewelry, you should check them out. They have two locations - one in Avon and another in South Windsor. Here are a few of our favorites images from our shoot! Lunell

ENGAGED Kim & Sam 9.21.08

This was my first time to the other side of the Newport Bridge - Kim and Sam took me to a park just outside Jamestown to begin with. It was pretty cool - I asked them to climb out onto the end of one cliff face while I photographed them from across the water from an opposite cliff. The warm light of sunset was just perfect also.

We made our way back to Jamestown and eventually to Sam's boat - the site where Sam had proposed to Kim. The Newport Bridge made for a really nice backdrop for their pictures on the boat. Cheers - Noel

Marissa & Justin 9.20.08

Marissa & Justin's wedding was special for many reasons, but it was the first time in a long time that Noel & I have shot together so it was extra special for me :) My scheduled 2nd shooter had an emergency, so Noel stepped in for the day. It was great working together again and we took full advantage of the gorgeous couple, the beautiful sunny day, and the city of Hartford. The reception took place at The Bond Ballroom where there was some "excitement" with the chandeleir. It seems that every time I work with DJ-extraordinaire Mike Connolly , SOMETHING happens - (be warned :) Lunell

Stacie & Jeff 9.19.08

Stacie & Jeff were the winners of our "2008 Deserving Couple" contest, and we couldn't have selected a more deserving and incredibly gracious couple. The love and happiness that the two of them (along with their families and friends) shared, was SO evident the whole day through. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them.

I have to give a HUGE and heartfelt "thanks" to a bunch of very generous vendors, who made it possible to really help out Stacie & Jeff, giving them an incredible wedding. Here are a list of the vendors/services they won!

And now....here are some of my favorite images from Stacie & Jeff's day:

And here are some of the details that the vendors provided:

Jennifer & Patrick 9.06.08

Jennifer and Patrick had such a great day - well, actually, we took most of the pictures the day before their wedding because their wedding day was accompanied by a tropical storm. In any case, I was just so happy to have great weather and lots of time for pictures the day before at one of my favorite places in Mystic - Ender's Island. Jennifer and Patrick's parents were so nice - carrying my bags and providing me with drinks. The next day, at their actual wedding at Mystic Marriott, the two fathers made speeches that turned into a duel to see who could thank the most people - very funny. Also, I have to say I really likes Patrick's music choices - the first time I heard New Order at a wedding and the crowd really got into it. Congratulations! Noel

Kristin & Ken 8.31.08

Kristin & Ken had a beautiful early evening wedding at St. Clement's Castle. Kristin and her girls were so great about "getting the picture" so I had a few of them dangling on a staircase ledge for the early part of the day - no injuries :) Ken - one of the nicest guys ever! The flower girl and ring bearer almost stole the show, and the light during the ceremony was just perfect, but faded quickly so we weren't able to get too many formals outdoors, but we made the best of it. Here are few of my favorite images from the day! Lunell
